Fifteen Days Solo Around Moab

Utah, Colorado and ArizonaOPUS OP4Bernadette BrooksTowed by Jeep

Bernadette Brooks did it solo: fifteen days, four states, one Jeep, one OP4 and her adventure dog Gryff riding shotgun.

The loop ran from Windwhistle Campground near Monticello through Goosenecks State Park and Monument Valley, across to Gallup, up through Mancos, Ophir and Telluride, then back down through Navajo National Monument, Flagstaff and Sedona.

"Moab is one of those places where each spot feels like a new trail to explore."

Independent suspension and an articulating hitch kept the backroads smooth for the whole two weeks. Solo does not mean roughing it.
