Common questions

Everything you want to know.

Up to 5 across the queen up front and the 2- or 3-bunk layout down back. Most families spec the 2-bunk for two parents and two kids; the 3-bunk works when there is a third child or a friend along.

Yes. The US builds the hardside body only. It sets up faster because there is no roof to raise, and the insulated shell holds heat and cold better for four-season trips.

GVWR is 6,600 lbs with 551 lbs on the tongue, and it weighs 5,591 lbs dry. A half-ton pickup rated to 8,000 lbs and up handles it, and a three-quarter-ton does it without noticing. Check the tow rating, tongue capacity and payload on your specific vehicle before you order.

1200Ah of lithium and 800W of roof solar handle a fortnight or more for an active family running the refrigerator, lights, pump, TV and device charging. The 3,000W inverter runs the AC, microwave and 110V appliances directly. 63 gallons of fresh water gets four people through about a week of normal use.

A hot-dipped galvanized gooseneck chassis, independent coil-spring suspension with vertical-mount Pedders shocks, Ridge Runner corner reinforcement, mud-terrain tires and a Cruisemaster DO35 articulating hitch. Specced for the same roads the camper-trailer range handles, with caravan-grade comfort inside.

5 years on structure and suspension. Component manufacturers carry their own terms, and your OPUS dealer confirms all of it in writing before you sign.
