1. Collection and Use of Data
1.1 When you visit our website, we collect personal data only when it is needed to complete a request, download, or enquiry, and only where you have provided consent. “Personal data” means any information relating to an identified or identifiable person.
1.2 Where required and consented to, we collect only the following information:

- Address(es)
- Email address
- Telephone number
- Any other comments you choose to provide
1.3 When you download a brochure, information pack, or save a product configurator on our website, you are asked to provide your contact details (such as name, email address, and telephone number). We collect this information so that we can deliver your requested materials, respond to your enquiry, and connect you with your nearest approved OPUS dealer. By providing your email address and/or telephone number, you agree that we may contact you regarding your request. We will only send promotional or marketing content where you have separately consented (for example, by checking the newsletter opt-in box).
1.4 When you visit our website, we also collect usage data (such as browser type, access times, duration spent on pages, and number of pages viewed). This data is evaluated for statistical purposes, to maintain the site, and to ensure system security. It is collected separately from any personal data you provide and is not linked to your identity.
1.5 We retain your personal data only as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 6).
2. Communication
2.1 By downloading our information pack or saving a product configurator, you give us permission to contact you to check whether you have any further questions and to direct you to your closest OPUS dealer. We will only send promotional content where consent has been given, and we will never send unrelated or excessive volumes of email.
3. Cookies
3.1 Cookies are small pieces of information stored by your browser on your device. Our cookies help keep track of your login and the information you enter into forms, allowing you to complete them more quickly. Cookies also allow us to track website activity and visits for statistical purposes, to maintain and improve the site. Any personal information captured by cookies is used only by our website and is not shared with third parties for their own purposes. Most browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can change your browser preferences at any time.
3.2 Advertising cookies. We use the Meta Pixel to measure our advertising and to show you OPUS ads on Facebook and Instagram. You can opt out at any time, as described in 5.2.
4. Third Parties
4.1 When you download the OPUS information pack or save a product configurator, your nearest approved OPUS dealer will be identified to you, and that dealer will also receive your personal data (name, email, and telephone number) so they can offer help or further information. Dealers will not send multiple emails and will wait for a response before following up. Marketing or promotional emails will only be sent where you have opted in.
4.2 We use trusted third-party service providers to help operate our business and website — for example, our customer relationship management (CRM) platform, HubSpot, which securely stores enquiry and contact data. These providers process data only on our behalf and under our instructions.
4.3 Under no circumstances will we sell your personal information or pass it to external third-party companies, other than the approved dealers and service providers described above who assist in fulfilling your request or enquiry.
5. Your California Privacy Rights
5.1 As OPUS Camper USA is based in California, and in accordance with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), California residents have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect and how it is used;
- Request access to the personal information we hold about them;
- Request deletion of their personal information;
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information; and
- Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
5.2 We do not sell your personal information for money. We use advertising cookies, including the Meta Pixel, to show you OPUS ads on other platforms, which California law may treat as “sharing” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can opt out at any time through the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link in our website footer, or by choosing “Opt out” in the cookie notice or cookie settings. We also honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals as an opt-out. Otherwise, we share your personal information only with approved dealers and service providers, as described in section 4.
