Owner stories

Real adventures.
Real people.

Owners on the trips they actually take with the OP13. Here is what they told us.

“My first impression of OPUS Campers' OP13 was that it was made to a quality standard. Having owned and reviewed lesser quality brands before, there were a number of things that stood out, such as heavy-duty hinges on the cabinetry, solid slide components, gas struts that actually work like they should, and just a solid build overall.”
Jessica Palmer
RV Daily · October 2024
“The first real test of our new OP13 was three nights at Shenandoah National Park (all three nights were low 30s). I love the ease of setup, and we were the envy of the camp group.”
Michael and Caroline
Shenandoah NP · VAThree nights at Loft Mountain
“With that off-road spec, the OP13 handled it all easily. The higher speed cruising to and from the OPUS factory was no problem either.”

Common questions

Everything you want to know.

4 to 7 days on the standard system: 600Ah of lithium, 800W of roof solar and a Victron 2000W inverter, with optional DC-DC charging to top the bank up while you drive. Water is the other limit, and you carry 63 gallons of fresh. Real-world range depends on the weather, the heat and how hard you run the refrigerator and AC.

GVWR is 6,600 lbs with 445 lbs on the tongue dry, and the OP13 weighs 4,927 lbs dry. A half-ton pickup or a full-size SUV rated to 7,000 lbs and up handles it with room to spare. Check the tow rating and tongue capacity on your specific vehicle and hitch before you order.

Yes. A full ensuite with a shower, sink and flush toilet, plumbed to the 10 gallon black tank and 17 gallon gray tank, with hot water from the Truma Combi. National park campgrounds without facilities stop being a problem.

Linak actuators raise and lower it at the touch of a button. No cranks, no catches, no climbing on anything. Roof down, the OP13 tows at 7'11" high, which clears most garages and every drive-thru you should not be attempting anyway.

5 years on structure and suspension. Component manufacturers carry their own terms, and your OPUS dealer confirms all of it in writing before you sign.

MSRP covers the OP13 as it is built on the standard inclusions list: the full 600Ah lithium and 800W solar system, both kitchens, the ensuite, the automatic roof, Truma Combi heat and hot water, Dometic AC and the complete off-road package. Title and tax are quoted by your dealer.
