1. About This Limited Warranty
This Limited Warranty (the “Warranty”) is provided by Purple Line, LLC, an Indiana limited liability company, 2300 Wilbur Lane, Antioch, California 94509 (“Purple Line,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Purple Line is the exclusive United States importer and distributor of OPUS® camper trailers and trailer-mounted tents. OPUS® is a trademark of Purple Line, LLC.
This is a LIMITED warranty. It is the only express warranty Purple Line makes for Covered Products. It applies only to Covered Products purchased new at retail in the United States from Purple Line or an Authorized Dealer and used within the United States. Please read it carefully, together with your Owner’s Manual, before you buy. A copy of this Warranty is available from every Authorized Dealer and at www.opuscamper.us.
2. Definitions
Capitalized terms have the meanings below wherever they appear in this Warranty.
- “Authorized Dealer” means a dealer that holds a current written dealer agreement with Purple Line and is listed at www.opuscamper.us.
- “Authorized Service Facility” means Purple Line, an Authorized Dealer, or another service provider Purple Line has approved in writing for a specific claim.
- “Commercial Use” means any use for compensation or for a business purpose, including rental or hire; listing the Covered Product for rent on any peer-to-peer rental platform or website, whether or not a rental takes place; use in a rental or demonstration fleet, guided tours, film or event production, or employee or worker accommodation.
- “Covered Product” means a new OPUS® camper trailer or trailer-mounted tent, identified by its Vehicle Identification Number (“VIN”), that is designated Model Year 2027 and sold new at retail in the United States by Purple Line or an Authorized Dealer.
- “Defect” means a failure in materials or workmanship, attributable to the manufacture or assembly of the Covered Product before its delivery to the Original Owner, that materially impairs the use, value, or safety of the Covered Product. A Defect does not include cosmetic variation or any condition excluded under Section 6. A condition that results solely from normal wear, aging, environmental exposure, or the inherent characteristics of the materials used (including canvas creasing, minor stitching or color variation, natural fabric shrinkage, surface corrosion, and UV fading or discoloration) is not a Defect.
- “Delivery Date” means the date the Covered Product is delivered to the Original Owner, as shown on the bill of sale and the Warranty Registration.
- “Full-Time Residence” means occupying the Covered Product for more than ninety (90) consecutive days, or for more than one hundred eighty (180) days in any twelve (12) month period.
- “Intended Use” means recreational camping and personal travel, with the Covered Product towed, loaded, set up, and operated within the Published Specifications and in accordance with the Owner’s Manual.
- “Original Owner” or “you” means the first retail purchaser of a Covered Product who buys it for personal, family, or household recreational use.
- “Owner’s Manual” means the owner’s manual and maintenance schedule supplied with the Covered Product, as updated by Purple Line and published at www.opuscamper.us.
- “Published Specifications” means the limits stated in the Owner’s Manual and the model specification sheet, including Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR), maximum tongue weight, payload capacity, maximum towing speeds on sealed and unsealed surfaces, maximum water-fording depth (if any), and approved hitch and coupling types.
- “Warranty Start Date” means the earlier of (a) the Delivery Date, or (b) eighteen (18) months after the date of manufacture shown on the VIN plate. Your Authorized Dealer must tell you the Warranty Start Date in writing on your bill of sale. Warranty Terms run from the Warranty Start Date even if the Covered Product had not yet been sold. If you purchase a Covered Product more than eighteen (18) months after its date of manufacture, part or all of a Warranty Term may already have expired at the time of purchase.
- “Warranty Term” means the applicable coverage period in the Coverage Table in Section 3, starting on the Warranty Start Date.

No extension of term. A repaired or replaced part is covered only for the unexpired portion of the original Warranty Term. Repair or replacement does not extend or restart any Warranty Term.
4. What Purple Line Will Do

- (4)If repairs are unsuccessful. If Purple Line or an Authorized Service Facility cannot correct the same covered Defect after a reasonable number of attempts, Purple Line will, at its option, replace the defective component or assembly or refund the purchase price of the defective component or assembly. This, together with the repair-or-replace remedy above, is your sole and exclusive remedy under this Warranty.

6.1 Use, loading and towing
- Misuse, abuse, negligence, accident, collision, rollover, or impact.

- Salt, chemicals, industrial fallout, tree sap, or bird droppings.
- Insects, rodents, or other animals.
- Theft or vandalism.
- Mold, mildew, fungus, condensation, or odor, unless directly caused by a covered Defect reported as required by Section 7. Even then, Purple Line’s obligation is limited to correcting the Defect and replacing the Purple Line-supplied components the Defect directly damaged. It does not include cleaning, remediation, or personal property.
6.3 Maintenance and delay
- Failure to perform maintenance at the intervals in the Owner’s Manual, including resealing, lubrication, bearing service, brake adjustment, wheel-nut and suspension-bolt torque checks, canvas care, and battery charging.
- Additional damage from continued use after a Defect was discovered, or from failure to take reasonable steps to prevent further damage.

- Electrical misuse, to the extent it causes or contributes to the failure, including reverse polarity; improper or incompatible charging equipment or chargers; connection to faulty, improperly wired, or out-of-specification external power (including generators and shore power); unauthorized wiring or aftermarket electrical modifications; and electrical overload.
6.5 Wear, consumables and cosmetic conditions

- Any Covered Product whose VIN plate has been altered, defaced, or removed.
- Any product sold at retail outside the United States, or not sold by Purple Line or an Authorized Dealer.
- Damage occurring while the Covered Product is outside the United States.
- Any Covered Product after it has been sold or transferred by the Original Owner (see Section 13).
7. How to Make a Warranty Claim
- (1)Notify promptly. Within seven (7) days after you discover a Defect, and in all cases before the applicable Warranty Term ends, contact your selling Authorized Dealer (or another Authorized Dealer that agrees to accept the claim) and submit a warranty claim to Purple Line at info@opuscamper.us. If you notify Purple Line more than seven (7) days after discovery, Purple Line will not pay for any additional damage caused by the delay. If you notify Purple Line more than thirty (30) days after discovery, Purple Line may deny the claim entirely if the delay has prevented Purple Line from inspecting the Defect or determining its cause. No claim will be accepted after the applicable Warranty Term ends.
- (2)Provide claim information. Include: the VIN; proof of purchase (the bill of sale showing VIN, Delivery Date, and selling dealer); a description of the problem and the date you discovered it; and clear photos or video of the affected area and of the VIN plate. A claim is not complete, and Purple Line’s review of it does not begin, until all of this information has been received. Giving notice within the time required by Section 7(1) preserves your claim while you gather it.
- (3)Provide maintenance records. For any claim involving a system with an item marked ★ (warranty-required) in the maintenance schedule in the Owner’s Manual, you must provide dated receipts or a completed maintenance log. These systems include seals and sealant, wheel bearings, brakes, suspension, coupling, chassis coating, air tent and canvas, house battery, water-system winterizing, and LP gas. The records must show that the ★ maintenance for that system was performed at the required intervals. If you cannot provide them, Purple Line may treat that maintenance as not performed and deny the claim to the extent the condition relates to that maintenance. For any other claim, you must provide maintenance records if Purple Line asks for them.
- (4)Make the Covered Product available. Purple Line may require an inspection by Purple Line or an Authorized Service Facility before approving a claim.
- (5)Wait for written authorization. No warranty repair may begin until Purple Line has authorized it in writing. Emergency exception: if a Defect makes the Covered Product unsafe to tow while you are traveling, you may have the minimum repair needed to make it safe to tow performed, up to $500 per occurrence. An occurrence is a single roadside event, however many parts or Defects are involved. To be reimbursed, you must: notify Purple Line within twenty-four (24) hours (or, if you have no phone or internet service, as soon as you regain service); submit an itemized invoice, proof of payment, and photos of the failure and the completed repair within thirty (30) days after the repair; and keep the replaced parts for Purple Line. Amounts above $500, and repairs beyond the minimum needed to make the Covered Product safe to tow, are not reimbursed.
- (6)Replaced parts. Parts replaced under this Warranty become Purple Line’s property and must be kept and returned if Purple Line asks.
WARRANTY REGISTRATION IS A CONDITION OF COVERAGE.
Your Authorized Dealer is required to register your Covered Product with Purple Line within ten (10) days after the Delivery Date. You are responsible for confirming that registration has been completed. If the Covered Product is not registered with Purple Line within thirty (30) days after the Delivery Date, this Warranty is void, except where applicable law prohibits this condition. You may confirm or complete registration at info@opuscamper.us.
8. Notice to Purple Line and Opportunity to Repair
If you believe an Authorized Service Facility has not adequately repaired a covered Defect, you must give written notice to Purple Line at the address in Section 17, describe the Defect, and give Purple Line a reasonable opportunity to repair it. Purple Line may require you to deliver the Covered Product, at your expense, to Purple Line or to an Authorized Service Facility it designates. If you refuse to allow Purple Line an opportunity to repair a Defect, this Warranty is void as to that Defect. You must give this notice and opportunity to repair before starting any legal action for breach of this Warranty or of any implied warranty.
9. Your Responsibilities
- Read the Owner’s Manual. Operate, load, and tow the Covered Product only within the Intended Use and Published Specifications.
- Perform all scheduled maintenance, including resealing, and keep dated records.
- Inspect the Covered Product at delivery and note any cosmetic issues on the pre-delivery inspection form.
- Report Defects promptly, stop using the Covered Product where continued use could cause further damage, and take reasonable steps to prevent further damage.
- Make the Covered Product available for inspection and repair.
10. Limitation of Implied Warranties
ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, IS LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE SHORTER OF (A) TWELVE (12) MONTHS FROM THE WARRANTY START DATE, OR (B) THE WARRANTY TERM THAT APPLIES TO THE AFFECTED COMPONENT UNDER THE COVERAGE TABLE IN SECTION 3. PURPLE LINE MAKES NO EXPRESS WARRANTY OTHER THAN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY.
Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
11. Exclusion of Incidental and Consequential Damages
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PURPLE LINE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, INDIRECT, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE COVERED PRODUCT, THIS WARRANTY, OR ANY BREACH OF THIS WARRANTY OR OF ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY, WHETHER THE CLAIM IS BASED IN CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STRICT LIABILITY, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, AND EVEN IF PURPLE LINE HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. EXCLUDED DAMAGES INCLUDE, WITHOUT LIMITATION:
- LOSS OF USE OF THE COVERED PRODUCT OR THE TOW VEHICLE;
- LOSS OF TIME, INCONVENIENCE, LOST WAGES, OR LOST INCOME;
- TRAVEL, LODGING, MEALS, FUEL, CAMPSITE OR RESERVATION FEES, AND THE COST OF CANCELLED OR INTERRUPTED TRIPS;
- TOWING, ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE, TRANSPORT, AND STORAGE;
- RENTAL OF SUBSTITUTE TRAILERS, VEHICLES, OR ACCOMMODATION;
- DAMAGE TO PERSONAL PROPERTY, CARGO, THE TOW VEHICLE, OR OTHER PROPERTY;
- CLEANING, MOLD, MILDEW, OR WATER-DAMAGE REMEDIATION BEYOND CORRECTION OF THE COVERED DEFECT;
- DIMINISHED VALUE OR LOSS OF RESALE VALUE; AND
- COMMERCIAL OR BUSINESS LOSS.
THIS EXCLUSION IS INDEPENDENT OF, AND SURVIVES ANY FAILURE OF, THE REPAIR-OR-REPLACE REMEDY IN SECTION 4, INCLUDING IF THAT REMEDY IS FOUND TO HAVE FAILED OF ITS ESSENTIAL PURPOSE. NOTHING IN THIS WARRANTY LIMITS OR EXCLUDES LIABILITY FOR PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH WHERE SUCH LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION IS PROHIBITED BY LAW.
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PURPLE LINE’S TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO A COVERED PRODUCT OR THIS WARRANTY, UNDER ANY LEGAL THEORY, SHALL NOT EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE YOU PAID FOR THE COVERED PRODUCT. THIS LIMIT DOES NOT APPLY TO LIABILITY FOR PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH WHERE SUCH A LIMIT IS PROHIBITED BY LAW.
13. Warranty Is Not Transferable
This Warranty is personal to the Original Owner and cannot be transferred or assigned. It ends automatically when the Original Owner sells or otherwise transfers the Covered Product. The Original Owner may not make a claim on behalf of any later owner.
14. Time Limit, Governing Law, and Disputes
Time limit. Any legal action for breach of this Warranty or of any implied warranty must be started within one (1) year after the cause of action accrues. For this purpose, a cause of action accrues on the date Purple Line gives its final written decision on the related warranty claim or, if no claim was submitted, on the date the applicable Warranty Term expires. Nothing in this Section extends any Warranty Term.
Pre-suit notice. Before starting any legal action, you must first comply with Section 8 and give Purple Line thirty (30) days to respond in writing.
Governing law. This Warranty, and any claim arising out of or relating to the Covered Product or this Warranty, is governed by the laws of the State of Indiana and applicable federal law, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
Exclusive venue. Any legal action arising out of or relating to the Covered Product or this Warranty must be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the State of Indiana, and you and Purple Line consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
WAIVER OF JURY TRIAL. YOU AND PURPLE LINE EACH KNOWINGLY AND VOLUNTARILY WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO A TRIAL BY JURY IN ANY LEGAL ACTION ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE COVERED PRODUCT OR THIS WARRANTY.
Individual claims only. Any legal action must be brought in your individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, or representative proceeding.
15. Parts and Design Changes
Purple Line will make replacement parts available for the period required by applicable law. Where an original part is no longer available, Purple Line may provide a functionally equivalent or superseded part. Replacement parts may be new, remanufactured, or functionally equivalent substitutes. Purple Line may change the design, parts, and specifications of its products at any time without notice, and has no obligation to make those changes to products previously manufactured or sold.
16. Goodwill Repairs, Unauthorized Promises, and Entire Warranty
Goodwill repairs. Any repair or payment Purple Line makes for a condition not covered by this Warranty, or after a Warranty Term has expired, is a “Goodwill Repair.” It is made at Purple Line’s sole discretion. It does not modify, extend, or waive any term of this Warranty and does not create any obligation to make similar repairs in the future, for you or for anyone else.
No authority to change this Warranty. No dealer, agent, representative, supplier, or employee of Purple Line has authority to change, extend, or add to this Warranty, or to approve or deny a warranty claim on Purple Line’s behalf. Only a written document signed by an officer of Purple Line can do so. Purple Line is not responsible for any warranty, promise, or statement made by a dealer, agent, reseller, or supplier. Any such warranty is solely the responsibility of the person who made it.
Entire warranty; advertising. This document is the complete and exclusive statement of Purple Line’s warranty obligations for Covered Products. No advertising, brochure, website, video, photograph, social-media content, or statement by any dealer or other person expands this Warranty, the Intended Use, or the Published Specifications. If any such material shows use outside the Published Specifications, the Owner’s Manual and the Published Specifications control.
17. General Terms and Contact
Severability. If any provision of this Warranty is held unenforceable in a particular jurisdiction, that provision is limited or removed only to the extent necessary in that jurisdiction, and the rest of this Warranty remains in effect.

Refusal to allow OPUS an opportunity to repair the Covered Product will void the Warranty for the identified Substantial Defect. Owner must provide written notice and permit OPUS the opportunity to repair a Covered Product before Owner may initiate any action to seek legal or equitable remedies for breach of this Warranty or any implied warranties. Any claim for legal or equitable remedy must be initiated within one year after the date on which the breach occurs.
Goodwill Repairs
Any repairs made by OPUS on portions of a Covered Product that are excluded from coverage or after the expiration of this Warranty shall be considered “Goodwill Repairs”. OPUS is not obligated to provide Goodwill Repairs nor shall the provision thereof serve to alter or modify in any way the express terms of this Warranty.
