Sean and his family pointed the Tundra at Southeast Oregon in the fall and found the Alvord Desert: a dried lake bed where you can camp wherever you stop, with off-road trails and open desert in every direction.
"We found the entrance to the dried lake bed... It was super weird to just camp anywhere on the lake."
No reservations, no designated sites, just the OP15 giving the family the space and comfort to make the middle of a playa feel like home.
"Trips like this show how much easier travel feels when your setup works with you, not against you."
