The Brech and Piggott families rolled out of Fresno with two OP4s and a plan. Southwest Utah had other ideas.
"The first three nights we camped at La Verkin Creek near Toquerville Falls. We attempted to bring the OP4s up La Verkin Creek and were unable to make it..."
The detour turned out better than the plan:
"The location we ended up landing at was about 30 minutes off the grid, just past the falls on a bluff overlooking a bend in La Verkin Creek."
The rest of the trip ran through Belly of the Dragon and a Virgin River camp, with the kids swimming below the falls. BLM land, creek crossings and a camper that shrugs at both.
