The first owner-planned Adventure Run started in Walsenburg, Colorado, with the Odom, Sundstrom and Schuster families and Ben Davis bringing a mix of OP4s and an OP15 behind everything from a Colorado ZR2 to an Excursion.
The route wound from the Great Sand Dunes over Medano Pass, past Bishop Castle and up through Phantom Canyon to the Rampart Range: sand, mountain passes and forest track in one loop.
No reservations required, experienced trails only, and proof that the owners can run an Adventure Run all by themselves.
