Trip Details:
A long weekend at Red Rock Canyon State Recreation Area off of Hwy 14. We had a group of three OP4s that spent three nights next to an old abandonded mining claim house.
We had a blast riding dirt bikes, exploring old abandoned mines, exploring unique terrain, and filming locations for films like Jurassic Park and Ghostbusters: Afterlife.
We had a wonderful time around the campfire, playing beanbags at night with our new board lights.
We explored the Bickel Camp, the abandonded Old Dutch Cleanser Mine, Holly Ash Mine and walked through the mountain at the Burro Schmidt Tunnel.
The road to Red Rock Canyon State Recreation Area is a state highway, but to get to the more interesting location you will need to at least the clearance of a stock pickup truck.
The trails winding their way into the park are rugged, with small quick turns, making the OPUS a great trailer to have.
