Jim’s trip began in Washington State where he started overlanding all the way to Jacksonville, Florida.
In the middle of Jim’s long journey to Florida (to see his daughter), Shelter in Place was announced. But travel plans didn’t change much for this overlander. He still had everything he needed to make it in time to meet his first grandchild, Violet.
After two months of being unexpectedly quarantined in Florida with family, Jim is on the final stretch of his journey home to Washington State with his Opus and Jeep JL Rubicon.
Jim’s trip continues over the southern part of the Enchanted Rookies Trail. Stopping in Lincoln, New Mexico, his drone captures amazing footage you can also see on his YouTube channel linked below.
Jim kindly thanked his neighbors and friends who took care of his home and helped out when he was unexpectedly quarantined in Florida… for two months!
